摘要
Fly ash is an industrial by product of coal in thermal power plant. To use such fly ash economically and environmentally friendly way, the authors have developed a technology to produce the granular ground materials from coal fly ashes. The granular materials are produced by mixing and granulating coal fly ashes, a little cement and water. This paper describes the manufacturing method of the granular coal fly ash material, its thermal characteristic and results of embankment model test. From this study, it is understood that the granular coal fly ash material maintain a significant surface temperature reduction effect and it could be developed as environment friendly new ground materials.
