摘要：

A STEM education program, whose objectives are to encourage young girls to consider the STEM careers as professional possibility and also to empower female undergraduate engineering students, is in its third year of development. The program structure is presented here with lines of action and related initiatives. Initiatives were created, modified, and adapted along these three years. The lessons learned on conducting this program are discussed in this paper, considering the developed activities as well as effectiveness and/or difficulties related to each of them. With this paper, we intend to inspire other players to develop similar programs and to encourage them with the results of our experience.
