Construction of Evaluation Index System for Coastal Sports Tourism Resources

Coastal Sports Tourism Resources (CSTR) is the base of coastal sports tourist activities, and to construct an evaluation index system for CSTR is the precondition for exploitation and utilization of CSTR. Based on theoretical analysis and expertial consultant, the author proposed a 3-hierarchy Evaluation Index System for CSTR, which contains 3 main aspects in terms of the value of CSTR, the geographical environment conditions and the CSTR exploitation conditions. In the system, layer B has 3 indices, namely, "the value of CSTR", "the geographical environment conditions" and "the CSTR exploitation conditions"; layer C contains 14 indices as "value of the physical culture" and "ecological environment quality"; and layer D includes 16 items like "visibility" and body building". Then the study applies analytic hierarchy process (AHP) to determine the weights of the indices, the results indicate that: weight of "the value of CSTR" is largest (0.5213), suggesting the factor's dominance in the evaluation system; weight of "the geographical environment conditions" ranks second (0.3136); and "the CSTR exploitation conditions" has a weight of 0.1651.
