摘要
Consumers with severe mental illness were administered the UCLA Loneliness Scale Revised and grouped according to living situation (alone with a roommate, with family, group home), No differences across living situation were found in degree of loneliness; however, individuals in this study were significantly more lonely than individuals without mental illness, This study suggests that living alone does not increase the vulnerability for loneliness in persons with severe and persistent mental illness.
