摘要
The purpose of the research work was to understand the development of computational thinking in children from 6 to 9 years of age: an experience with primary school children using robotics. The research approach is qualitative, which allowed monitoring through the observation of the actions carried out by the students; starting with very simple activities, such as disassembling and assembling the Zowi BQ robot, then carrying out mechanical activities related to mathematical concepts and finally robotics activities, integrating programming with WeDo 2.0. The results of this intervention have been positive, because it allows children to understand the basic foundations of computational thinking through three educational projects. This research work allowed us to demonstrate how students managed to develop computational thinking skills through the design of sequences in the programming of robots in problem solving; In addition, it develops digital skills, integrates some areas of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics; such as mechanics-mathematics and enhances communication skills and creativity.
