摘要
In this paper, Interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy set (IVIFS) is exploited to propose a generalization of fuzzy TOPSIS method. We have termed the proposed TOPSIS method as Interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy TOPSIS method (IVIFS-TOPSIS). Here, the IVIFS-TOPSIS handles the Supplier Selection problem in which linguistic variables based criteria description is given. The best supplier obtained by IVIFS-TOPSIS is in concurrence with the other well-known fuzzy TOPSIS methods. It is possible to use IVIFS-TOPSIS over other types of linguistic variable multi-criteria decision making (MCDM) problems.
