摘要
eScope is a digital sampling oscilloscope implemented on Structured ASIC fabric of eASIC. Its features include a two-channel digital sampling oscilloscope capability and an arbitrary waveform generator capability in a single USB-powered module. eScope was implemented on a FlexASIC FA600 device. The chip includes only the digital blocks: the sample buffer memory and the interpolating digital trigger logic, the waveform output buffer memory and data sequencers, as well as the EZ-USB IO interface logic. A single on-board 80MHz oscillator drives the on-chip PLL clock generators to provide separate clock domains for each digital input and output channel as well as for the USB IO channel. eScope connects to a PC using USB link. An instrumentation GUI is used to process and visualize the acquired data. This paper presents the design methodology for eScope.
