摘要：

Translation of cultural differences is a very important and even key part in a successful translation. It is important and necessary to study cultural differences between two different languages for translators. Taking English to Chinese translation for example, this paper analyzed different meanings of colors in China and English cultures, and explored different kinds of translation strategies in translation of cultural difference as well as their different functions in cultural translations. It is concluded that cultural differences must be concerned in translation, and different translation strategies can be used in translation of cultural differences, which contributes to English to Chinese translation study in a certain degree.
