Polarization switching in ferroelectric thin films studied by optical second harmonic generation

摘要
Domain configuration during polarization switching in ferroelectric thin films was studied by optical second harmonic generation on different time scales: quasistatic (0.1 Hz), low- frequency (0.1 - 1 kHz) and fast (0.1 GHz). It is shown that within the electric pulses of several tenth of nanoseconds domain configuration may be different from the equilibrium.
