The role of interplanetary magnetic field and solar wind in modulating both galactic cosmic rays and geomagnetic activity (vol 27, pg 1823, 2000)

The values of the geomagnetic activity index Ap used in Figure 1 and 2 and in the analysis resulting in equation (2) of Sabbah [2000] were inadvertently twice the correct values. The scales in the bottom panels of Figure 1 and 2 should therefore have read 10 to 26 nT rather than 20 to 52 nT. In addition Ihe best fit linear representation between the upper cut-off rigidity (Rc) of the diurnal variation and the geomagnetic activity as expressed by the geomagnetic index Ap, equation (2) of Sabbah [2000] should have read.
