EOP teaching is the tendency of ELT at vocational college and is the focus of the English teaching reform. The reform is guided by the principles of learner-centeredness, occupation-orientation, variety, openness, and practicality. It involves a systematic reform in the aspects of curriculum design, course content, teaching models, practice, evaluation and teacher training. It is challenging but worthwhile for both teachers and students. EOP teaching is an everlasting process of exploration, innovation and development.
