摘要
Now a days as the demand of electric power, which is basically AC in nature, is increasing the use of renewable energy, which is basically DC in nature, are included in the existing system to make the overall system hybrid in nature. Due to the large It/X ratio in the radial distribution system, the conventional derivative based methods which contains the admittance matrix faces the singularity problem. Here we propose an algorithm capable of solving the load flow problem in such a system to overcome the problem of conventional method. The proposed modified Backward-Forward Sweep algorithm is basically the derivative free load flow method. This method is also useful in case of DC microgrid to solve the load flow problem. In this paper modeling of interlinking converter, between AC and DC microgrid, is done. Here the BFS method is also used in case of islanding operation and gives experimental results to show the usefulness of the proposed method.
