摘要：

This paper reports on photoluminescence measurements on vacuum deposited phenylene vinylene oligomers (OPV). The emission spectra were shown to be strongly affected by the conjugation length of the molecules. Spontaneous emission is largely affected when the OPV films are in microcavity geometry. The in-depth mapping of the microcavity is shown to be of a prime importance for optimising the gain at the resonance of the cavity.
