Deltochilum valgum acropyge Bates (Coleoptera: Scarabaeidae: Scarabaeinae):: Habits and distribution

摘要：
The apparent rarity (four specimens known) of Deltochilum valgum acropyge Bates is due to a collecting artifact. Captures of IO adult specimens in the Mayan Biosfere Reserve, Peten, Guatemala, in traps baited with live millipedes (Diplopoda: Spirobolida), suggest that it is a specialist in millipede predation, of nocturnal habits and has wide geographic distribution in Central American rainforests (20-970m).
