GC-MS and LC-MS evaluation of pesticide degradation products generated through advanced oxidation processes: An overview

摘要
This article provides an overview of the application of GC-MS and LC-MS techniques for carrying out pesticide degradation studies by means of advances oxidation processes (AOPs). The attention is focused on the crucial role of these techniques in the evaluation of degradation products (DPs) produced through the application of these oxidative treatments. Advantages and limitations of the application of different GC-MS and LC-MS approaches are outlined. Further, the DPs produced under different AOPs treatments of a large number of compounds belonging to the major pesticide families: triazines, organophosphorous and halogen containing compounds are presented.
