摘要：
Models are useful tools for exploring our conceptualization of hydrogeologic conditions, and for predicting impacts under various scenarios. Attention to flux calibrations, geologic structures, and depositional environments is more than just good modeling practice. Ignoring these aspects in a modeling study can produce erroneous results that reflect badly on the science of hydrogeology and on the tools used by its practitioners.
