A sun-pumped ground-based pulsed liquid laser is numerically simulated. A neodymium-containing liquid based on phosphorus oxychloride (POCl3-SnCl4-Nd3+) is proposed as the active medium. The lasing characteristics of such a ground-based liquid laser are calculated as functions of its geometrical sizes for various values of the solar energy concentration factor.
