摘要
Babesiosis are well known in France in domestic animals (cattle, horse and dog). They are transmitted by ticks. Their repartition are in relationship with these of the ticks. The Babesia divergens bovine babesiosis is widespread in France. Two studies were carried out in Sarthe: a long and a shea prospective study. The results are: ticks appear twice a year (spring and autumn). The percentage of positive animals is important, but varies from 20 to 80%. The incidence of clinical babesiosis is very low, compared with the asymptomatic babesiosis which is very high. The clinical cases seems to be linked with the presence of Ixodes ricinus.
