Research and Application of Multimedia Teaching in College Physical Education

Physical education is an integral part of the teaching system of colleges and universities, and it helps cultivate well-rounded talents that can meet the current needs of the society and enterprises. With the rapid development of computer and network technologies, multimedia teaching has become increasingly important in higher education and is currently adopted in a wide range of applications. Therefore, studying the application of the multimedia teaching system in college physical education is important. In this study, the current research status of the subject was first investigated and understood. Second, the subject in relation to theoretical and technical bases was comprehensively studied and analyzed. Third, based on this analysis, the application method of the multimedia teaching system in physical education in colleges and universities was established, and the entire process was analyzed. Finally, the new multimedia system was verified through an experiment, and experimental results were compared and analyzed statistically. The feasibility and effectiveness of the new method were proven with concrete data. Consequently, the feasibility and significance of this research were confirmed.
