摘要
"Cultural-Historical Theory and its contributions in the Teaching of Geography in the Amazon" discusses, in the context of School Geography, the Cultural-Historical approach, based on historical-dialectical materialism, its contribution to the analysis and understanding of reality, and its consequent construction/appropriation of geographic concepts by elementary school students regarding the construction of the concept of the Amazon biome. To do so, a literature review on the themes of Cultural-Historical Theory and School Geography was carried out, seeking to articulate them in order to, through the reading and interpretation of reality, provide a methodological path of teaching-learning capable of instrumentalizing teachers and students in the construction of contextual and autonomous knowledge.
