摘要
We analyze the dynamical properties of arrays of coupled solid-state lasers. The interaction mechanism, valid in the weak-coupling limit is local and described by a complex coupling parameter. We focus our attention on the possible synchronization or self-organization properties of the system. Besides the well-known phase of total order corresponding to complete locking, weaker collective order is observed and related to the formation of clusters of synchronized units. We discuss, in particular. the roles played in the existence of Such ordered state by the real and by the imaginary parts of the coupling parameter.
