摘要
The hydro-distilled essential oil obtained from the aerial parts of Syzygium kanarense (Talbot) Raizada (Myrtaceae) was investigated for the first time by gas chromatography equipped with flame ionization detector (GC-FID) and gas chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry (GC/MS). Fifty-two constituents were identified, which represented 91.9% of the total oil. The major compounds were seychellene (7.3%), alpha-muurolol (5.4%), cis-cadinene ether (5.3%), beta-vetivenene (5.1%), 10 epi-gamma-eudesmol (4.8%), guaiol (4.5%), longiborneol (4.1%), 6-elemene (4.1%) and alpha-muurolene (4.1%). The oil was found to be rich in sesquiterpene hydrocarbon (49.5%) type constituents.
