Misperceptions about the accumulations of nicotine for smokers; an experimental study

An experimental study was held to test people's misperception about accumulations. Nicotine's level in smokers' bodies was used as an example. A stock and flow structure was used as a mean for enhancing learning and overcoming the misperception. After analyzing the results of the experiment, it was found that the stock and flow hint increased the percentage Of subjects (i.e. persons who were given the questionnaire), who perceived the accumulation. Yet, because some subjects based their decisions on sentiments (i.e. sympathy with the case explained in the questionnaire) instead of a certain mental model hence they affected the results in a negative way.
