摘要
University teachers reveal specific training needs in order to undertake a proper integration of ICT in their teaching methods. A descriptive, relational exploratory survey has been carried out in order to detect which are professor's current skills regarding the use of computer office tools and which their training needs could be. An online questionnaire was applied to a significant sample of professors of the University of A Coruna The results show that teachers skills are more developed when refering to text processors and presentation software, although most consider they have a particular need on these last ones. Regarding their skill levels, significant differences have been found in both personal (gender and age) and professional variables (teaching experience, teaching experience using virtual environments, position, or discipline). Only teachers with higher experience in using virtual environments considered to have less training needs.
