What is claimed as a new and patented op-amp topology has now appeared in product form as National Semiconductor's LMC2001. It is the first in a new family of precision amplifiers that combines the high accuracy of traditional precision amplifiers with broad band AC performance. Some detail and discussion of the operation and performance of the new op-amp are described.
