Relation between structure and hydraulic conductivity of marine clayey soils

摘要
Pore Size Distribution (PSD) of natural clayey soils was measured by mercury intrusion porosimetry. Characteristics of the PSD were represented by the mean diameter of pores (D-p50). An attempt was made to relate the hydraulic conductivity (k) with the PSD. A unique relation was found between k and nDp(50)(2), where n is the porosity.
