This article investigates how literary fiction devoted to love relationships integrates the internet and social media and questions the assumption according to which the virtualization of love introduces new behaviors and new forms of narrativity. In Celle que vous croyez (2016), Camille Laurens builds her novel on the creation by her main character of a fake Facebook profile but also demonstrates that the virtual world does not revolutionize the dynamics of seduction and manipulation or their literary treatment.
