Revised approach to Khaskind's method to calculate the wave-making resistance depending on the sectional area curve of the ship

摘要
The use of Khaskind's method applied to calculate the wave-making resistance during the design of ship forms is a very interesting issue, as the curve of areas, the hull wetted surface, and the immersion of the center of buoyancy are the only necessary elements for calculation purposes. This paper shows the implementation of this method on several ships in order to optimize this resistance.
