摘要
The recycling of end-of-life electric and electronic products is one of the main environmental problems in Europe and world-wide that calls for urgent solution. The high and increasing amount of waste from electronic equipment with hazardous material content is a present danger for our environment. In the last few years production of electronic appliances became one of the main industrial activities in Hungary as many multinational enterprises built new plants or moved to the country. The huge amount of production waste together with the high amount of end-of-life products made clear, that recycling of EE products can be a good business in the Central-European region. Situation on the WEEE in Hungary will be presented in this paper.
