摘要
We propose a novel two-dimensional (2-D) direction-of-arrival (DOA) estimation method with automatic pair matching. Firstly, the DOAs of elevation angles can be estimated by the singular value decomposition (SVD) of the cross-correlation matrix. Then, we utilize the equation of the two transform matrices between the subspaces and array flow patterns which are corresponding to the elevation and azimuth angles respectively to obtain the DOAs of azimuth angles and achieve the automatic pair matching. Notably, compared with the method based on joint SVD of two cross-correlation matrices or by cross-correlation matrix stacking, the proposed method utilizes both left and right singular matrices not only left singular matrix, which is fuller use of information and has little computational burden. The effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed method are demonstrated by the simulation results.
