Characteristics of Air Pollution Partitioning in Liaoning Province, China

摘要
Liaoning province is an old industrial base in Northeast of China, which is typical in winter heating period and has severe air pollution. Twelve months of PM2.5, PM10, SO2, NO, NO2, NOx, CO and O-3 concentration data was nanalyzed by principal components analysis. Results showed that air pollution partitioning could be devided by three types: 1) PM2.5, PM10 and CO pollution situation; 2) SO2, NO, NO2 and NOx pollution situation; 3) O-3 pollution situation. Shenyang city was the most polluted and then followed with Anshan city. Dandong, Dalian and Yingkou city are slightly polluted. The SO2/NOx ration indicated fossil fuel combustion was the dominant pollution sources.
