摘要
Environmental sustainability has become an essential fit in the society today. In a bid to study the antecedents of workplace pro-environmental behaviour (WPEB) of employees and more so the intervening variable to alter or boost such desired behaviour, this paper attempts to propose a model that studies the effect of personal moral norms, Attitude, perceived behavioural control (PBC) and environmental knowledge on the behavioural intention of employees to practice WPEB. The novelty of this paper is the fusion between value belief norms (VBN) theory and the theory of planned behaviour (TPB) in conceptualizing determinants of WPEB. Further, it involves intervening variables such as environmental knowledge and a renowned significant predictor of intention such as Personal moral norms in the theory of planned behaviour (TPB) framework in forecasting employees' intention to practice WPEB in Malaysia. Future research should carry out empirical studies based on this conceptual study.
