INSTITUTIONAL REPOSITORY, TOOLS FOR ELEARNING

In this age of digitization, which began about a decade ago, libraries were increasingly involved in acquiring electronic documents, in addition to the collections formed in the traditional way. For most libraries, digital publications investments exceed the costs down for print publications. Some purchases are made individually and others aimed at large collections. Access to these collections is determined by contracts and licenses which contain complex. Most people want to access the full text of articles. Users particularly like the full-text resources and want easy access to them. Establishment of collections that have both physical and electronic content is an ongoing challenge. Add to this the current needs for automation of libraries; the challenges are more complex than ever before.
