摘要
Distributed intrusion detection system (DIDS) is a typical kind of distributed, dynamic system with concurrence, synchronization and resource sharing. Both static structure and dynamic behavior should be considered in DIDS modeling and simulation. The hierarchical colored Petri net (HCPN) is a useful model to represent the static structure and execute the dynamic behavior for DIDS. HCPN can effectively deal with distributed system, especially for concurrence, synchronization system, making modeling and simulation process more easy and intuitionistic. Furthermore, DIDS model complexity can be remarkably reduced. It has been illustrated throughout an example and shown such superior performance as effective and practicability. This technique is quite general and can be applied to other distributed systems.
