摘要
This paper presents an outline of the design requirements for the integration of renewable energy conversion and storage within a building's energy infrastructure. Prominent in shaping the requirements is the need to identify and leverage building side flexibility towards the electricity grid; this includes consideration of the building loads, on-site storage and generation. Building side flexibility is considered within the framework of Demand Side Management to explore possible load pattern modification strategies of the building. These include enhancing self-consumption of generated energy (for example charging the battery with excess solar-power, charging battery during off peak hours and discharging it during peak hours in combination with valley filling and load shifting). The integration of renewable and storage systems in buildings should therefore facilitate supportive flexible operation scenarios that provides support in the form of increased stabilig to the power grid. This type of dynamic energy management should also in future be integrated in building energy management systems.
