Self-consistent cooling and synchrotron-self-compton emission of relativistic electrons in gamma-ray bursts

摘要
The spectra of Gamma-Ray Burst (GRB) emission have been investigated theoretically by a number of authors (e.g., [1-3]) for different versions of a general fireball-shock scenario [4,5]. However, the existing analytical works give rather coarse predictions and suffer from many uncertainties. We develop a refined analytical model of synchrotron-self-Compton emission, in which we take into account both synchrotron and inverse Compton cooling of relativistic electrons. The principal role of Klein-Nishina cut-off is shown. We discuss the delay of inverse Compton (IC) component of GRB emission with respect to sub-MeV radiation and describe its energy dependence.
