Implementing knowledge repository retriever in knowledge management

Many organizations are developing information systems designed specifically to facilitate the sharing and integration of knowledge. Such systems referred to as Knowledge Management System, has played an important role within an organization. Search engine is considered an effective tool supporting knowledge repository. Numerous Knowledge Management papers propose KM framework with hardly any implementation of knowledge repository retriever for Application-Finder KMS, and Knowledge-Finder KMS. Most of the papers present implementation of People-Finder only and do not,discuss the database design. Knowledge Management process are discussed without the knowledge retriever. The paper presents how to retrieve knowledge from knowledge repositories for all the three categories of KMS. Database design relating to knowledge has been developed.
