摘要：
The paper presents a planar low profile monopole antenna with an integrated circularly polarized band. The proposed monopole antenna defected ground surface is composed of a C-shaped slot and U-shaped slot for achieving dual band notching. The radiating patch is consisting of a square radiator loaded with U-shaped unsymmetrical slot for the generation of two current modes of almost equal magnitude and 90 degree phase dissimilarity between them. The antenna is simple as well as compact in size and is easily integrable with other microwave circuits.
