摘要
A microstrip transmission line model is proposed for magnetic photonic crystals hailing a stationary inflection point in their dispersion diagrams. The model is formed from an existing degenerate band edge microstrip circuit by replacing the substrate material with a properly biased ferrite. Using the four port unit cell's transfer matrix, we calculate the dispersion diagram of the periodic structure and verify the stationary inflection behavior. Variation of the geometry parameters to tune the k - omega diagram is also discussed.
