摘要
The magnetic relaxation of isolated iron-nitride particles with a narrow size distribution is discussed to clarify the nature of temperature-independent magnetic viscosity. An iron nitride magnetic fluid is prepared by vapor-liquid chemical reaction between iron carbonyl and ammonia. The particles are randomly fixed in solidified paraffin wax below room temperature because the carrier liquid is paraffin oil with the melting point of 333-335 K.
