摘要
The effect of hydrothermal treatment on the morphology, structure and composition of the Ni/Al2O3 catalyst was studied by means of SEM, XRD, XPS and DTA-TG. The results indicated that the atomic ratio of Ni to Al in the Ni/Al2O3 catalyst increased from 0.15 to 0.18 after hydrothermal treatment. The increase in the specific surface area of the catalyst was connected with the occurrence of the netlike structure for the Ni-bearing components at elevated temperatures. Ni(NO3)(2) adsorbed on the surface of Al2O3 particles in samples with and without hydrothermal treatment was converted to Ni0Al(2)O(4) crystallites after being sintered in air at 450degreesC for 2 h. The hydrothermal treatment of the Ni/Al2O3 catalyst was favorable for the improvement of the catalytic activity for methane cracking and the increase in the initial cracking rate of methane.
