摘要
UNESCO emphasizes the importance for future professionals to become aware of the value and impact of the development of information literacy. That is, as professionals, to identify the need for information, search for information effectively and efficiently, evaluate the quality of such information and then ethically use the information. In this paper, we present a proposed framework to initiate students in an active learning format in the skills of accesses needed information effectively and efficiently. It has been created according to the Second standard proposed in the "Information Literacy Competency Standards for Higher Education" developed by the Association of College, Research Libraries, & the American Library Association. The experience was implemented in four professional careers at a public university. The activities were adapted to the interests of each professional profile. We have measured the proposal's impact from the student's perception based on the level of achievement. Initial results showed that students perceived a state of maturity after the experience. We believe that the approach presented can be adapted to different contexts and specialties.
