摘要
Many researchers have successfully worked on developing new energy sources from renewable energy. Plant derived Ceiba pentandra and Mahua (CPM) blended biofuels is regarded as a suitable substitute fuel for compression ignition engines. The current study investigates experimentally, the impact of dual biofuel blends with diesel fuel at various compression ratios in a combustion ignition engine. Ceiba pentandra and Mahua biofuels were blended with regular fuel in the proportions of 10, 20, 30, and 40 percent by volume basis. The blended fuels were examined at various compression ratio under optimum loading conditions. The different blended fuels were tested under the compression ratios of 15-19 and the performance parameters were analyzed. Also the entire combustion process along with engine's exhaust pollutants were investigated further. The engine performance characteristics improvised at B20 bio-fuel blend at a compression ratio of 18 with full load conditions.
