Isotropic magnetoelastic interaction in two-sublattice ferri- and antiferromagnets: Mean-field approximation for the Heisenberg model

摘要
A generalization of the exchange magnetostriction model for magnets with two different magnetic sublattices is performed. By minimizing free energy, with allowance for the explicit dependence of the exchange integrals on homogeneous deformations, equations of state for the magnetic and elastic subsystems in two-sublattice ferri- and anti ferromagnets were obtained. These equations were used for an analysis of first-order order phase transitions in YMn2 and ErCo2 compounds.
