摘要
Spherical harmonics moments of the neutron angular flux are calculated for spherically symmetric systems. Neutron angular fluxes are determined by employing the S-N method. Spherical harmonics moments of S-N method calculations are compared to the singular eigen function expansion computations. Total flux and current determined by both of these methods show a good agreement, so the higher order moments are also compared. This study was undertaken to investigate accuracy in calculation of the spherical harmonics moments by the purely numerical S-N method. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
