A Differential Dual-band Dual-polarized Antenna for 5G Communication System

摘要
A differential dual-band dual-polarized antenna for 5G communication system is presented in this paper. The proposed antenna consists of four pairs of square-ring-shaped dipoles. The two pairs of dipoles inside are designed for high frequency operation, whereas the two pairs of dipoles outside are designed for low frequency operation. To achieve high isolation between the two ports, two pairs of differential ports are used. The simulated results show that a great isolation of below -60 dB in the whole designed band has been realized. And the simulated -10 dB impedance bandwidth at the low frequency is 53.7% (1.22GHz, 1.66-2.88 GHz) centered at 2.27 GHz, the simulated -10 dB impedance bandwidth at the high frequency is 15.0% (0.74GHz, 4.57-5.31 GHz) centered at 4.94GHz.
