摘要
Studies of the sorption properties of natural adsorbent in relation to different concentrations of the aqueous solution of nanosilver have been carried out. The designated in dynamic contact conditions maximum sorption capacity of the adsorbent was in the range 1.513-3.198 mg/g and increased with increasing initial concentration of nanosilver. The parameters estimated from the Langmuir, Freundlich, Temkin and Dubinin-Raduszkiewicz isotherms equations indicated that chemical adsorption occurred (1/n < 1) and the adsorbent was found to be effective in relation to nanosilver particles. The goal of research was also to determine the kinetic model of sorption process. The pseudo-second-order equation showed the best match for low concentrations of nanosilver, while the pseudo-first-order equation and intramolecular diffusion model showed high match for higher concentrations. Sorption process occurred more intensively for lower baseline concentration of nanosilver. The investigated adsorbent was considered as the effective natural material for the purification of aqueous solutions from nanosilver particles.
