The CEA has different stages that are, experimental and theoretical stage is used for initial information-gathering for planning cycle, experience definition provide the understanding of the consumer experience, and early product definition is used to develop the products's value propositions. The production and validation stage uses various method to evaluate and understand consumer's perceptions and experiences with the developed products.
