On the use of a 3D printer in mechatronics projects

摘要
The present paper describes the authors personal commitment in providing an education, research and development lab with a 3D printer. This facility has been an incentive to students' activities. It has been possible to benefit from production functional prototypes timely. The use of the 3D printer technologies in promoting research and development activities at undergraduate level is reported. The work describes the context of the students' work, the selection process of a 3D printer and provides some description of the ongoing works.
