摘要：
Three generalizations about intelligence are presented: (a) There is a positive manifold for cognitive ability measures, (b) IQ phenotypes are heritable, and (c) IQ is related to a broad range of socially significant outcomes. The policy implications of these findings are considered with respect to such issues as educational reform and the malleability of IQ. The issue of race and IQ is briefly considered.
